So whilst tweaking songs (i.e. adding a middle 8 or making the chorus more catchy) is certainly something we can do for you, we can't re-write your song entirely.In addition to this, if we are helping you with the writing process, because of the time this takes to both complete the writing, which is separate from the actual recording of the song, we can't do multiple revisions for you.If you are VERY particular about your songwriting, we would suggest you get the song as close to 'perfect' in your eyes before we start working on it.However, if you are more open and flexible in your approach, rest assured, we have never had any complaints about our tastes and competencies as songwriters … at least not yet!

Typically recording your vocals (and any other parts you would like to record yourself) takes place either at a local studio of your choosing OR at home!

We encourage artists to invest in a bear minimum of recording gear, such as a basic interface and condenser microphone.

Not only will this help with laying down better demos in the future, but more importantly, it will help create a synergistic back and forth workflow during production of your songs.

Part of our service is assisting you in purchasing the right gear inexpensively, and setting yourself up at home. So we can help guide you how to go about things, and exactly what you will need.

You are of course also welcome to attend Jack's studio (in Mallorca or London). However this may not be feasible, depending on where you live.

The majority of our clients record their vocals either at home (with a simple home-studio setup) or in local studios in close proximity to where they live.

Setting up a basic home-studio is never a bad idea for an emerging artist. And it certainly enables us to work together more seamlessly.

It is also less expensive for you to invest in a microphone and small interface than to pay for time in a professional studio every time you want to record another song.

We will absolutely advise you of which audio gear to invest in, how to set it up, and how to use it.

We even take this a step further in The Breakthrough Package by purchasing your home-studio gear for you, on your behalf. As soon as you sign up, your microphone and other home-studio equipment will be ordered for you by us, and delivered straight to your door.

At the end of the project, you will be sent an mp3 version of your song as well as a 24-bit WAV file ready to upload for Spotify / iTunes etc via your preferred distribution platform or record label.

Your song will be mastered to account for the 'loudness normalisation' of whichever streaming platform it is being uploaded to. This will guarantee a powerful and loud enough master track.
